Pre-lander

In plain English

What does Pre-lander mean?

A page shown before the advertiser's landing page to warm up cold traffic, typically an advertorial, quiz or story.

Pre-landers bridge the gap between an interruptive ad and a sales page. They set expectations, filter out the curious, and lift the conversion rate on the offer page. Native, push and pop campaigns almost always use one.
