The Beginning

Hi, I'm Ali, and I've been in the affiliate marketing trenches for over a decade. I've seen it all — the golden opportunities that printed money for six months and then vanished overnight, the crushing failures that ate through agency-sized budgets in a weekend, the industry shifts that broke careers, and the tools that promised the world but quietly delivered nothing but recurring charges.

I started in 2014 with a $200 budget, a pop-up affiliate offer, and the misplaced confidence of someone who'd watched too many YouTube guru videos. I burned through that $200 in six weeks. Then I borrowed more. Burned that too. Then I started reading — actually reading — affiliate forums, case studies, P&Ls posted by anonymous operators who clearly knew things the gurus didn't.

Why AffDude Was Born (2025)

By 2024 I'd scaled offers across twelve verticals — sweeps, dating, nutra, finance, SaaS, gambling, ed-tech, the lot. I'd run agencies. I'd been ghosted by affiliate managers. I'd lost five-figure days to tracking bugs. I'd been on the receiving end of every “best of” listicle whose top-ranked tool was clearly the highest bidder.

So in early 2025, I made a decision. Instead of keeping all this hard-earned knowledge locked in my Notion, I'd put it online — properly. Not as a SEO-stuffed listicle factory or a course funnel. As a genuine community resource for affiliates who'd been burned by the same pay-to-play review sites I had.

What Makes Us Different

Most “affiliate review sites” you'll find on Google are operated by SEO agencies that have never run a paid campaign in their lives. The reviews are written by freelancers who got a 200-word brief and a link. The rankings are determined by who's paying the most that quarter.
