Macro

What does Macro mean?
A placeholder in an ad network's URL template ({zoneid}, {click_id}, {geo}) that the network replaces with the real value on each click.
Macros are how publisher IDs, click costs and campaign data reach your tracker. Each network documents its own; get them wrong and your reports show blanks. Map every useful macro into a tracker parameter when you set up a source.
