What does Landing page mean?
The page a click arrives on before the offer, built to warm up the visitor and raise the conversion rate on cold traffic.
Landers (pre-landers when they sit before the advertiser's page) exist because cold traffic converts badly when sent straight to an offer. A good lander matches the ad's promise, loads fast, and has one call to action. Advertorials, quizzes and comparison pages are common formats.
