What does Cookie duration mean?
How long after the click a conversion is still credited to the affiliate. 30 days is common; some programs give 90 or lifetime.
The tracking cookie stores which affiliate referred the visitor. If they buy inside the window, you are paid; a day later, you are not. Longer cookies suit expensive products with long decision cycles. Last-click attribution means another affiliate's later click overwrites yours.
