What does COD mean?
Cash on delivery: an offer type where the customer pays the courier on receipt, common for nutra and e-commerce in emerging markets.
COD removes the need for a card, which is why it dominates in markets with low card penetration. For the affiliate it means a lead (a phone order) rather than a payment, and the payout depends on the call centre confirming and the courier delivering. Approval rates of 30 to 60% are normal, so the quoted payout is not what you receive per lead.
