What does Attribution mean?
The rule that decides which click gets credit for a conversion when a user saw several ads or links.
Most affiliate programs use last-click: the final affiliate link before the purchase wins. Some use first-click or split credit. Attribution windows and rules decide how coupon and cashback sites can take commissions from content sites, which is why many programs restrict them.
