What does Affiliate program mean?
An advertiser's own in-house affiliate scheme, run directly or through a platform like Impact or PartnerStack rather than a CPA network.
Where a network resells many advertisers' offers, an affiliate program is one brand's direct deal: sign up, get a link, earn a percentage or a fixed bounty. Programs usually pay more per conversion than the same offer on a network because there is no middleman, but they approve more selectively and pay less often.
SaaS programs often pay recurring commissions for as long as the referred customer stays subscribed.
